Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Your Account

1.1 Stylist Verification

You affirm that you are a licensed professional (or equivalent in your jurisdiction) and are legally able to perform the services you list on the platform. Ikasi reserves the right to verify your credentials at any time.

1.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account. You agree to keep your password secure and notify Ikasi immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Platform Services and Fees

2.1 Appointments and Booking

Ikasi provides the software and infrastructure for booking, scheduling, and payment processing. We are not a party to the contract for the service itself, which exists solely between you and your client.

2.2 Service Fees and Payouts

• Transaction Fee: Ikasi charges a percentage transaction fee on all client payments processed through the platform. This fee varies based on your subscription tier (Trial, Basic, Standard, Premium).
• Payouts: Payments are collected by Ikasi and disbursed to your designated bank account on a scheduled basis, minus applicable transaction fees and taxes.

2.3 No-Show and Cancellation Policy

You may set your own cancellation fee policy. Ikasi will enforce this policy by processing the fee from the client and remitting the amount to you, minus the applicable transaction fee.

3. Content and Portfolio

3.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the images, videos, and descriptions you upload to your portfolio.

3.2 License to Ikasi

By uploading content, you grant Ikasi a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, marketing, and promoting your profile and the Ikasi platform.

3.3 Content Guidelines

You agree that your content complies with our Content Guidelines. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, nudity, hate speech, and copyrighted material you do not have permission to use. Ikasi may remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice.

4. Client Data and Privacy

4.1 Data Responsibility

As a stylist, you acknowledge that you are a "Data Controller" for the client information you access through Ikasi. You agree to use client data (names, contact info, booking history) only for the purpose of providing services to them through the Ikasi platform.

4.2 Privacy Policy

Your use of the platform is subject to the Ikasi Privacy Policy, which outlines how Ikasi handles and protects your personal and financial information.

5. Termination

5.1 Termination by Stylist

You may close your account at any time via your account settings. Upon closure, your public profile will be immediately removed. Any outstanding balance will be paid out during the next scheduled cycle.

5.2 Termination by Ikasi

Ikasi reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

• You violate any part of this Terms of Service, including failure to pay subscription fees.
• Your average client rating falls below acceptable standards over a sustained period.
• Required professional licenses expire or are revoked.

6. General Legal Terms

6.1 Disclaimer of Warranty

Ikasi provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

6.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ikasi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

6.3 Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
